I love it!
i have the hardest time with #3. after a second draft, the paper seems perfect to me. and it’s so hard to get constructive criticisms beyond basic grammer out of people.
Ya, I think in most cases a quick review is fine. I think he’s focusing more (at least on that point and some others) on professional writing, in which case you shouldn’t be careless about what you put out there, because once it’s out there, there’s no taking it back. Writing on the web is a little better in this regard, since you can at least go back and correct a mistake if you find it later.
