Google Reader does actually rock now. I think it’s time to switch RSS readers again.
Best of all (well maybe not best, but I haven’t heard a lot of people mention it) is that in addition to all the other great aspects that everyone has been blogging about since the upgrade, they also have a mobile-friendly version of the system that’s actually usable, which is a huge benefit in my book.
I’ve used the mobile version for months because it was so great, even though I didn’t use the reader at all. And I’m surprised it’s such a big deal to you mister, I have an HTML browser so it doesn’t matter on my big superior phone.
It’s still a big deal for the sake of usability. If I really needed to, I could use any of the feed reader sites, but if they aren’t formatted for mobile use it can still be a pain. Most of the other ones depend on fixed width layouts and such that don’t work well on smaller devices, even if the browsers support them.
