First entry

I finally broke down and submitted to the irresistible lure of the blogging culture. In case you are thinking that I did it just in time for it to become “mainstream” enough for it to no longer be “cool”, I assure you that I have considered this at great length and ultimately decided that I don’t care. Either that or I’m so far ahead of my time that I’m envisioning a point in the future when everyone will get bored with it, thus making it unpopular again and therefore cool. So there.

Well, this is the first post I’m making to this thing. Seems like it should be something more profound, but since I have been so caught up in the tech side of things lately, I decided to include a link to a good article on web standards, one of my pet peeves. It should be of interest to those of you who are involved in maintaining web pages in some form or another.

you still have pink in the highlights in mozilla. This looks like Sara’s blog. Ha. Only I didnt take the pink out for her. I love Wordpress.

Oh, I see now. I hadn’t looked at Sara’s, but that is the style sheet that I copied from. What do you mean by the highlights? I thought I hunted down and eliminated all the pinkness, and I can’t find it now. Let me know where you see it; I checked using Mozilla 1.6 and Firefox 0.9.3

I see pink when I do comments.
I don’t know where in the style sheet it is but if you go to enter a comment the box’s are pink.

your icons are a little pink too.
I can change them quick in photoshop for you if you want.

It is not in Safari, if that helps.
Maybe I have a pink setting on my mozilla browsers, HA Ha.
    Your blog still looks great.

Thanks. I do see it now, I think my laptop screen was just tilted at the wrong angle. I will fix it, and I can change the icons too. I am pretty familiar with Photoshop already - I used it to make those borders by pulling out the background of the one from the style that Sara uses (minus the flowers) and put in the chineese characters and did the “raised” effect using lighting effects over a texture channel.
