My view is that I'd hesitate to call this "complaining". Of course "complaining" is wrong, and the Bible frequently encourages us not to do it; but just because you're calling for a change doesn't necessarily mean you're complaining. Of course, blogging is a fertile ground for complaints, and I've probably crossed the line (between speaking out against what I perceive as an injustice and just plain complaining) more than once, but in this case I think it fell more on the side of the democratic responsibility to voice one's opinion than the side of just whining and complaining. I'd love to see the thesis, by the way. If it helps prevent procrastination, I could start nagging you and complaining until you get it done...
