What's really scary is a lot of people actually probably believe the same way, even though they wouldn't come right out and say it.

If the government has labeled (*not proven*) you as a "terrorist" (not necessarily violent in any way), with absolutely no evidence of any kind required, a lot of people will basically assume that you have no rights, and you deserve to be tortured and die. Scary indeed.

So fine, they let off some steam with some guys who killed innocent people and want every person who doesn't believe their way dead, including me and you. Remember, there were only about 10 marines involved, ya they screwed up, but the media was so happy to have this footage and weapon to bring down the supporters of the war. Do you relize the gas this put on the fire of insurgents. All I have to say is those prisoners deserved more than what happened in the photos (I love how people will defend these terrorists til the day they die). Now these terrorists are fleeing Iraq because Democracy prevails. All I have to say is watch the News to see how happy the citizens of Iraq are because we who believe in Democracy stuck to our word and will finish what we started.

#1 - He said that the soldiers were blowing off steam in the photos we saw. Please explain the context which makes that OK.

#2 - It's a commonly known fact that Osama was supported and supplied by us in his fight against the Soviets, during which he rose to power. Their tactics against the Soviets, which we endorsed at the time, are now the same acts of "terrorism" that we are in a "war" against.

The great thing about this transcript with Glick is that it shows how O'Reilly just can't deal with someone in a rational conversation. When Glick makes valid points, all O'Reilly can do is try to insult him (without answering his questions, by the way), and then when that doesn't work all he can do is tell him to shut up and then just cut him off.

The limbaugh comment is taken out of context. He didn't say torture is a good way to blow off steam.
