Of course, they were blank. Discs packed full with data may have sunk like a rock…. reminds me of the old joke where you tell some “technologically impaired” friend that they need to defragment their hard drive to balance out the data, because otherwise it will start to wobble as it spins, due to the uneven distribution of the data.
