Has anyone else noticed the MS Anti-spyware beta generating huge log files (like just under 1GB)? I’ll have to check my computers at home when I get there and see how big it is there.

where?
A different computer (not one of mine) that had a lot of spyware on it before. My log file is pretty small; I have heard reports of this problem elsewhere though.
Looking at another problem ( unable to logoff XP ) and tripped across MS Antispywares log. Currently 4Gb !!!
Wonder if that is why Xp is not loggig me off ?
Not sure why it would do this … yet !
Still looking.
I haven’t seen it get too big on my own system, but the one I did see this on had a history of spyware infections. My guess is that it was a spyware app that the MS anti-spyware could detect and attempt to clean, but couldn’t completely get rid of. I’m guessing that it would find it, try to clean it, and then the spyware app would restore itself and continue the cycle, with the MS anti-spyware creating new log entries every time.
