I got caught up with everything else going on, and realized that I forgot to post this a couple weeks ago.
As discussed in this earlier post, there was a desire on the part of several people I am seeing Star Wars with to go to the Century 16 theater instead of Edwards (movie snobs?). Anyway, we successfully pulled the switch - I went to Edwards to refund the tickets purchased on Fandango.
It was a bit tricky, because I didn’t want to buy the Century tickets before I got the Edwards refund, in case they wouldn’t do it, but I also didn’t want to do the Edwards refund without being positive that we could still get Century tickets. So, I ended up logging onto Fandango in my car in the parking lot and confirming that the Century seats were still available, then immediately going to the booth, getting the refund, and going back to the car and ordering, so that I was only left without a ticket for about a minute. I know, it’s overboard, but what can I say.
Now I just have to figure out what I’m going to do if Martha and Christian aren’t home by Wednesday…

Give the tickets to me.
What time are you going? I want to go know.
12:10am show; we waited too long to get the 12:01 show. The 12:10 & 12:20 are sold out now, but there is a 12:30. I thought you already had a ticket?
don’t forget the belated stryker trip (see it a second time with us!) 7:30pm thursday.
I was thinking about it but it’s sold out too. Oh well, I know someone I know will see it this weekend, otherwise I will hit it alone, which isn’t “half bad”. And I rather not go to a movie on a work night; then come home to a night of baby cries keeping up half the 4 hours I have left to sleep. Don’t you two tell me I have it made either…it takes two to make babies and crazyness to have 2+.
We are enjoying “Star Wars” week here at the Alderson apartmento. Randy and I just watched Episodes I and II and tomorrow night either we’ll watch them again or watch Episodes IV, V, and VI (like how I used the roman numerals to keep it real?). I’m actually getting excited about Episode III. For the very first time in my life, I am excited about a Star Wars movie. My husband has turned me on to the force. We’ll see you Wednesday night, Jared!
Dang, that’s another thing I wanted to do but I forgot about; I was going to organize a pre-show party to watch 1&2 before going to see 3. Here’s an idea: assuming Christian comes home on Wednesday, I will bring our portable DVD player and watch either ep 1 or 2 in line for 3.
Oops, I forgot the roman numerals…
hahaha, watching the previous movies in line is sooo hardcore!
I just realized where your priorities are. Great.
Since that last comment didn’t make any sense, I thought I’d clarify - Martha was just looking through the old posts by tags for her name, and probably didn’t read this one before since it was about Star Wars. She did say she was only joking, though, to make me feel better.
