Google Earth

This is cool. Especially the “flying” in from space to a city, and then from city to city. Thanks to Michel for the link.

    That was great!
I tried the flying feature from Hanalei to Ventura to NY. The curvature of the earth looks really amazing.

nice. i like “pool, the” and “lake, the” in central park. also, the international names for cities is fun… first person to name what “al-qahirah” is wins the prize!

I am suprised this is the first time you heard of this. I used Google earth to create a countdown I did a long time ago.

It proves I guess you don’t read my blog.

Google Earth is the same thing as Keyhole?

    Yeah, they bought keyhole.

Just go to keyhole.com, and you will be redirected.

That was old news but it is a lot better then when I first used it, as keyhole, right after google bought it.

I think I might use this for some bridge announcements. you know from theB to the park, or whatever.

I wish they had VTA a little more detailed but I guess it’s better then some places.

Do either or any of you know how to get better resolution?
Are the green areas as good as it gets?

The resolution is not adjustable, because they are satellite shots that were taken a while ago. You can get some better resolution in some areas on TerraServer
