…software development doesn’t work out for me, my new backup plan is to be a tournament poker player.
We went up to Chumash casino today for a poker tournament and I ended up making the final table, and taking fifth place overall (after making some dumb mistakes).
Everyone had a pretty good time; Dan got 28th place, so he made money too, and he actually came away with more because he went and played the other tables after he got out.

My dad is way into tournament poker and makes a ton of pocket change doing it. I wish I knew how to play…
I would love if Sara went with us but the babysitter thing isn’t going to happen just yet. And to have you gals spend all day at the spa would be more money then if I lost every hand of poker. You could always hang out in Solvang, this would solve the babysitter thing, for us anyways.:D
Jared: What do you mean? I don’t think anyone is going to bring up specifically Partypoker, texas holdem, online poker or “love your site”.
Solvang is not a big thrill for me, sorry. Maybe something else, some other time.
That was great guys. Making the final table guys. Making the final table is a big achievement. I wish I can duplicate what you have done. I have never experienced ther feeling of being with the best.
