He was so over the top yelling and cheering for himself that he had to be kind of just doing it for show. You could tell that he was actually a little surprised that they let him through, like he never really expected them to anyway. On the other hand, he did sing an original song, so maybe he really is (at least halfway) serious about it, even if he's not that good. I forgot to tape it last night, so I didn't see that one.
