I found my car parked at work using google earth. It was a little fuzzy, but I could tell it was my car.

kind of wierd, huh? are there any laws about how close of detail the satelite pictures are allowed to be? it sure seems like an intrusion to me. we could spy on people. oh wait. spy satelites. i’m getting it now.

I didn’t know that your neighbors have a pool, Jared! When was that picture taken? Cause that looks like Dianne’s white honda out in front of your mailbox.

I think it is Jared’s car.

Yes, I believe it’s my car, and the basketball hoop is there too. I think Nathan may have some speculation on his blog about when the pictures were taken, and all the ones in a given area were probably taken at the same time.

Yeah. I if you look around Ventura, you will find the new water park is just breaking ground. So, that means it was about a year ago, I think.

Maybe more though, cause it looks like your addition is just a foundation. Right?

No, that is the roof. You can see the raised edge.

The bridge parking lots ( across the street and behind the building) have cars so it might be a sunday morning. My work address in westlake is vacant.

Does anyone think it’s a little creepy that you don’t see any people on the streets? I went to my house and downtown and there were no people!

I just think you can’t make them out. I see little blurry dots that might be people. If you try to zoom in too much you loose all the definition.

the shadows might suggest the time of around 11:00 AM or so.
I am not a spy sat guy but you don’t want to take pictures with long shadows in the way so mid day would seem logical.

I found myself streaking through Cemetary Park. I’m the big white blurry dot near the “Jose Garcia” grave. Gotta look really really close.

I opened up google earth to get a better look at Ventura, and I would say it is probably sometime in the afternoon, maybe sometime around 2:00. The shadows are facing almost directly NW, which would tell me that it’s past noon. The time of year is a factor with the shadows though. I think most of Oxnard was taken on a different day or time, because it is definitely a weekday and probably sometime in the late morning in Oxnard.
