We went to Kristi’s “pinning ceremony” (nursing school graduation type event) tonight, and celebrated all of her hard work in becoming a nurse. Since she’s probably too humble to brag about it herself, I’d like to point out that she won (I’m pretty sure) every single available award, including the “single best 4.0 GPA student / over-achiever in the whole class” award (I don’t remember the exact name, but you get the idea).
Now it’s time for a cruise to celebrate!

what is this cruise everyone keeps talking about? are people all going together or does it just happen to be everybody take a cruise month?
It’s a long story, and I’m not sure I understand all the details, but the basic summary is a while ago Kristi and Randy wanted to plan something to celebrate her finishing nursing school. They found this cruise to Ensenada that’s happening this weekend, and told us about it.
Martha and I decided to go too, as did Nate and Kristen. Some of Kristi’s other friends from the midwest are going too, but I don’t know their names yet. Then Dan and Sara signed up too, then Alex and Celeste and Mikee and Vera.
Although this is the same cruise that another group from the bridge just went on two weekends ago, that (as far as I know) is just a weird coincidence.
Next time we’ll have to be sure to advertise it better so that everyone who might want to go would know about it.
I just read your blog for the first time in a week. Thanks for the congrats, Jared. I had a fun pinning/graduation ceremony, and I really love and appreciate all you guys (and gals) coming out to support me. I couldn’t have done it without you!
