Relaxing weekend

No home improvement for this weekend, or even anything overly techie - just a day at the beach on Saturday and hanging out over at Dan & Sara’s and then Randy & Jacquie’s today.

It was especially fun watching Christian win $20 from Dan on that Geometry Wars game. Speaking of that game, there’s a pretty good clone called Grid Wars for those who don’t have an X-Box 360, and it’s a pretty good substitute for the original.

That’s awesome that he won. I be the price of one of the PCs that Dan is selling just went up $20.

If you have a controller that has two analog sticks (which you pretty much need for this game), then the controls are exactly the same as on the X-Box. I haven’t tried it without that, but it feels exactly the same with that type of controller. Hey, you should be happy that they have a Mac version too.

and I bet the mac version is better. Although on the PC you could use an Xbox 360 controller.

    1: You are sad.
2: Yes, you can use an X-Box 360 controller, although you probably don’t have one unless you have a 360, in which case you could just spend the $5 and play it there. We have logitech ones that were (IIRC) $15 for a pair, and they work just fine.
