It actually turned out to be a good thing to park far away today. I got to walk through downtown and take in the atmosphere in a way that you don’t do when you’re driving. Right before the gathering started, I walked with Christian and Riley over to Burger King for dinner and back.

After the successful removal of the stent today, Christian is officially “tube-free” for the first time since this whole ordeal began. So far so good, just slowly settling into the relief of this latest victory.
