Speaking of conspiracies

There are many conspiracy theories out there to be considered, but I think not enough attention is being given as to whether a 13th episode of Fawlty Towers existed, and (more importantly) if so, WHY it is being hidden from us.

Finally…

… time to watch the first episode of this season of Survivor that I recorded on Thursday but haven’t had the time to watch until now.
Correction… it’s actually time to go download it on bittorrent, because it looks like Emma deleted it after she watched it this weekend.

Funny stuff about Donald Trump

I’m not sure which was funnier - the irony described in the title of this article called ‘Trump tells “Apprentice” sidekick “you’re fired”‘, which describes the fact that Carolyn (the female “judge”) got canned, or the internal parts of the article that tell us that George and Carolyn will be replaced on the show with [...]

Is it just me…

or is Seasame Street nowhere near this cool anymore.
I love that they do the super-extended jam version; for some reason I just can’t see them doing that anymore - definitely not on commercial TV, and probably not even on public TV kids shows.

Forget American Idol

“America’s Next Muppet” mini-series in development
Now the Muppets are working on their latest gig, putting together their own “reality television contest called “America’s Next Muppet.

Of course, after confirming on IMDB, I realize that he’s been in a whole bunch of stuff in the [...]

The new apprentice

I just watched the opening credits of the new Apprentice show, and it lists their “team names” in the credits. “Gold Rush” wasn’t great, but I think everyone on whatever team chose the name “Synergy Corporation” should be fired right off the bat just for their choice of names.

TV/DVR habits

Following up on my comment from this post, about not seeing American Idol last night, I realized that there are very few TV shows for which I actually make an effort to see every episode. I do like the tryout shows for American Idol (and none of the episodes after that part), but I don’t [...]

American Idol

The only good part of this show is on right now: the tryouts. These are really entertaining for so many reasons; mostly they’re funny, but it’s also interesting to watch the judges try to discover new (and sometimes not too insulting) ways of telling people they suck.

O’Reilly on Letterman

This is great.
