I just tried out my recent comments plugin in Wordpress 2.0 (on the new biggest loser blog), and it seems to be working just fine.
I have been hovering around 30K hits per month for the last several months, until last month, when it jumped up to 81,902. In responding to a recent question posted to my review of Blogsome, the excellent free WordPress hosting service, I discovered that Blogsome offers my Recent Comments plugin as part of its “out of the box” package. Pretty cool!
The only drawback is it’s a very old version (1.7 - it’s currently at 2.3), but oh well.
I’ve adapted the admin UI for tagging posts from the cat2tag plugin Dan mentioned earlier, as well as adding my own features, including support for adding tags on the fly that contain spaces, as well as auto-tagging. By this I mean that as I am typing (or if I open an old post for editing), [...]
I’m now using the WordPress categories as tags, and I made a plugin to do a Flickr-like weighted tag link section instead of my old categories links. Now I just have to go back and update all the old posts. I’ve gotten through the most recent 100 so far - only 450 more to go!

Need one to get rid of those lame » (>>) characters that WordPress puts in Trackbacks, since they make the XML in the comment feeds not parse correctly
A new spam plugin. I turned my old one off because it was blocking trackbacks and pingbacks, but I haven’t had time to [...]
I need one that tells people when their comments have been moderated so it’s not confusing. This may already be out there; I haven’t looked yet.
The second beta release of the tagboard plugin is ready.
Also, an upgraded Top Commenters plugin is also ready - you will need this if you don’t want tagboard entries to count towards the Top Commenters rankings. No page for this one yet - soon.
